  • Abstract
    A new simple method to calculate AC magnetic hysteresis loss in HF power transformers is proposed. As the calculation of eddy current loss is well-known, with this new method is possible to obtain a complete solution of magnetic losses, their spatial distribution and sensitivity analysis in induction heating, transformer cores or other applications. Results from an experimental test in a commercial induction cooking unit are provided for verification
