Abstract :
This paper aims to compute the optimal code rate for each class of encoder and an achieving set of principal states. We are interested in two cases: finite and asymptotically large codeword lengths. A relationship between the two cases will be presented. We consider block-type-decodable encoders which comprise: block (blk), block-decodable (blkdec), and deterministic (det) encoders.
