Abstract :
Chaotic systems possess many useful features, such as intense dependence on initial conditions and system parameters, irregularity of movement, limited running scope, etc. In the paper, we present a random bit generator based on two chaotic systems linearly cross-coupled with each other. Afterwards, we employ four tests: mono-bit test, serial test, poker test and auto-correlation test to evaluate the randomness of the proposed generator. At last, we analyze the linear complexity of the generated sequences and the cipher space. All the experiments show that the generator holds the satisfactory properties.
