Abstract
Double-sided rotating scan mirror is adopted by infrared camera of HJ-1B satellite as its imaging mode. With the support of knowledge for infrared camera, satellite ephemeris file and attitude file, a rigorous sensor model for infrared camera of HJ-1B is constructed. Meanwhile, in consideration of the positioning error caused by inaccuracy of ephemeris and attitude, an error reduction model used to calculate corrections for exterior orientation elements using a few GCPs is established in this paper. Experiments show that positioning error is about six pixels when three GCPs are used to refine exterior orientation elements.
