Abstract :
The welding technology of billets is a key technology to affect whole endless rolling process and rolling quality. In this article, a self-designed microcomputer control system for flash butt welding power source in endless rolling technology is introduced. Resistance in flash butt welding is dynamic in endless rolling process. On the basis of researching and analyzing PID control algorithm, a two-dimensional fuzzy PID controller is designed on the basis of dynamic resistance error e(kt) and change in error Ae . This system can effectively control the dynamic resistance between the two electrodes and it is suitable to flash butt welding in endless rolling process.
