Abstract :
The combination of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing and asynchronous transfer mode is being investigated as a means to provide wideband services to rural communities that are sufficiently remote from major population centers to make fiber delivery cost prohibitive. Preliminary analyses indicate the feasibility of such an approach
