Abstract
We have proposed a compact method by using the SOM for determination of membership functions in temperature fuzzy control system. The controlled system is analogically approximated with an electrical RLC circuit and the behavior of the circuit was simulated with mathematical technique under two conditions: non-disturbance and disturbances. The criteria of performance of the circuit were mapped on a SOM map and optimal parameters of the membership function were estimated from the SOM map.
