Abstract
This paper proposes a rapid color spectrum feature abstraction algorithm of ceramic tiles towards automated surface quality analysis based on LabVIEW. At first, quantify the color spectrum feature of tiles based on HSL color space; then compare the color spectrum information of the template tile with the desired tile to classify. The experiment result shows that this method is simple and applied, and it is faster than the histogram statistics algorithm. It can be used in the situation of rapid grading field.
