Abstract :
This paper discusses the two correlated sources encoded by two separate encoders. The coding strategy used in this paper is based on time-sharing of rate-distortion codes. The paper focuses on the development of an alternative coding strategy, with the aim of closing the existing gap to the Berger-Tung outer bound.
