Abstract :
Strong earthquake data recorded in Tokai Earthquake, Japan are selected according to fault distance and PGA values of horizontal constituent in this paper. Based on this attenuation, laws about fault distance of this earthquake are analyzed. The results are: 1) In the results about PGA and PGV´s attenuation laws, larger one of horizontal constituent shows bigger discreteness. And when comparing the analysis results with the models built depending on parameters given by Japanese relevance documents, we can see the attenuation speeds of they two are similar at near fault, but the similarity decreases with the increase of the fault distance; 2) Arias strength of each constituent decreases smoothly with the fault distance, and vertical constituent shows higher attenuation speed; 3) Response spectrum value at 0.2s shows higher attenuation speed than the value at 1.0s. As well, vertical constituent decreases a little quicker than the other ones for Sa0.2, but for Sal.0, vertical constituent shows lower attenuation speed.
