Abstract
Since the high accuracy of the leakage detection can not be achieved at present, singularity analysis based on wavelet transform is adopted to analyze the pressure signals of the oil pipeline and then get the singularity points. To locate the singularity points, an improved ad hoc algorithm, which can restrict the drifting of modulus maximum, is adopted. The detection result of 4 oil pipelines shows that this method can be used to monitor the leakage of the oil pipeline and can accurately locate the leakage points.
