Abstract :
A RE2O3-Mo cathode which contains Lu2O3 and Y2O3 with a certain weight ratio was made using a Sol-Gel technique and the spark plasma sintering technique. The maximum secondary emission yield (deltam) of this cathode could reach 4.6 while the activation temperature is only 900degC.
