  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel WDM-PON structure based on dual-fiber ring of RNs and star topology of ONUs is designed to realize the full protection for services in case of either single or dual fiber failure. In the design, the survivability of the network is largely enhanced by three work methods. Simultaneously, this network structure can reduce the crosstalk caused by the same wavelengths in single fiber, and improve performance of the transmission system.
