Abstract :
In order to understand the mechanism about impact of dust on solar photovoltaic (PV) performance, we primarily analyze in three sides, blocking to transmission of sunlight, the increasing of temperature on the PV performance, and the impact of sunlight transmission which is caused by surface corrosion. Firstly, we propose a parameter called PV-fouling coefficient which is used to evaluate the influence of dust to the photovoltaic Engineering. Secondly, we also analyze the factors of the PV-fouling coefficient. According to the experimental study, we found the effect of different amount of fouling and two fouling state to the PV-fouling coefficient. And finally analyze the case of the PV project cleaning solution, and obtain that according to the rainfall, dust conditions and PV-fouling coefficient, we can determine the cleaning program to the solar photovoltaic project.
