Abstract
This paper presents an application in which a feedforward neural network is trained by mathematics students to solve mathematical problems. The interface is designed as an educational computer game to help the students understand GCSE mathematics. A demonstration of the idea, using Matlab, is discussed and the results show that the idea is workable. The possibility of using evolutionary neural networks is investigated.
