Abstract :
Agent based simulation (ABS) is an effective tool for analyzing the complex systems. ABS can handle many characteristic things about the complex systems such as heterogeneity, interactions, spacio-temporal properties. These kind of things are difficult to handle by traditional theoretical analysis. In this study, we deal with combat simulation as an example of ABS. This combat simulation is simple but enough complex. In traditional approach, combat is analyzed based on the number of soldiers. In this paper, however, combat is analyzed based on the interaction between agents. Several network indices are used to measure the interaction. We show that the our approach can find the turning point of the combat faster and more precise than the traditional method.
