Abstract :
Multi-Agent System (MAS), Lonworks control network and the applicability of them in the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system (RMFDS) are presented in this paper. A layered model for remote monitoring and fault diagnosis based on the integration of MAS and Lonworks technology and Internet is developed. This model classifies equipments, enterprises and diagnostic centers into groups according to the appropriate granularity. Moreover, a mixed agent architecture based on the Web Service technology is constructed, and the program of agent classes is described. The model is proven to be open, standard, and expandable by integrating the advantages of several technologies and methods in different fields and capable of supporting network manufacturing from heterogeneous distributed resources.
