Abstract
Node localization is one of the most important technology for application of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). This paper provides a weighted centroid localization algorithm based on the similarity of RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) with low hardware cost and low communication consumption. as the weighting factor, similarity of RSSI, approximately reflect the distance between two nodes and the influence of each beacon node in the location algorithm, the simulation result shows that the algorithm proposed can improve the location accuracy of wireless sensor nodes efficiently.
