Abstract
To identify areas with heavy time dispersion, a technique and a PC-based implementation using a digital topographical database are presented. The propagation model considers the paths of transmitted energy from the transmitter to the receiver in three-dimensional terrain. A first comparison with measured data shows that the calculated shape of the power delay profile follows the shape of the measured profile. The main delayed peaks can be identified in the predicted power delay profile both on the time and the power axes
