Abstract :
With the widely development of consumer electronics, 3D graphics have been in high demand and become a very important module in mobile devices. One of the most successful algorithms that bring realism to the world of 3D image generation is the Illumination shading. But in mobile devices, power is supplied by battery, so it is very important to reduce the power consume of chip. In our paper, a special arithmetic unit is proposed to perform division, multiplication, reciprocal-square-root and power efficiently in Illumination shading.
