Abstract
This paper adopted an easy to understand Simulink Induction Motor Model. A somewhat different induction machine model equations in which flux linkage equations are expressed in terms of reactances rather than inductances is used. The Simulink blocks utilized is divided into fourteen sub-systems with each subsystem solving one of the model equations in a detailed, easy to understand form. The results obtained correlates with the results obtained using inductance based flux linkage approach.
