A learning management system based on the life cycle management model of e-learning courseware

The main issue addressed here is how to help graduate students obtain advanced scientific and technological knowledge by Web-based self-directed learning. Our approach is to propose a life cycle management model of e-Learning courseware, which promotes the design of learning management systems. In this paper, we also describe a framework for the learning management system based on the model using SCORM, which is becoming a global standard in developing learning management systems.
