  • Abstract
    A Calderón-preconditioned single-source combined field integral equation (SSCFIE) method has been developed to analyze electromagnetic scattering from uniaxial dielectric objects. The construction of generalized single-source electric and magnetic integral equations in the presence of uniaxial dielectric media is revisited. Combination of a Calderón-preconditioned single-source electric field integral equation and single-source magnetic field integral equation is implemented to make the proposed algorithm free from spurious resonance and dense-mesh breakdown. With the use of Buffa-Christiansen (BC) functions, the SSCFIE is well-conditioned discretized. Numerical results show good performance of the proposed algorithm.
