Abstract
This paper demonstrates how directed graph techniques can be used to form analytic transfer functions representing the two-port scattering parameter matrix describing active microwave device equivalent circuit models. The implementation of the resulting transfer functions in a robust, efficient parameter estimation scheme is discussed, as are a number of other interesting features of the technique.
