Abstract
Regarding a telecommunication network as an information system from operation viewpoints and as a telecommunication system from service viewpoints, the authors have proposed a software-defined architecture (SDA) that easily describes system architecture specifications of telecommunication information systems (TISs), that automatically constructs new TISs according to these specifications, and that autonomously reconstructs existing TISs. The paper proposes a TIS model based on the SDA, and discusses the SDA schema model, the open distributed processing viewpoint model, and the intelligent network conceptual model. It also discusses the distributed processing capabilities of nodes
