2012 Distinguished Service Award of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Susan Trolier-McKinstry

Professor Susan Trolier-McKinstry (M\´92-SM-F\´09) is the 17th recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented during ceremonies at the 2012 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium, October 7-10, 2012, in Dresden, Germany. The laudation was given by Prof. Ahmad Safari (Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ). Prof. Trolier-McKinstry\´s award citation reads: "For over twenty years of leadership and commitment in a wide range of positions including President Elect and President of the Society, VP of Ferroelectrics, Co-Chair of International Symposium on the Applications of Ferroelectrics, Co-Chair of IEEE Standard for Ferroelectricity, and Associate Editor of the TUFFC."
