Abstract :
The blind adaptive interference canceler using the constrained minimum output power algorithm cancels co-channel interference without any prior information of other users´ codes. However, it tends to cancel the desired signal due to non-orthogonality caused by frequency selective fading. In order to protect the desired signal, a large amount of computational complexity is introduced in the previous method. In this paper, we propose a simple adaptive interference canceler, which significantly reduces the computational complexity, yet achieves almost the same BER performance as the previous scheme
