Abstract
The authors analyze the state of water in impregnated Kraft-paper with di-octhyle-phtalate, and discuss the effect of water in the Kraft-paper on conduction phenomena under DC voltage. The water in the oil-impregnated Kraft-paper is shown to behave as a trimer cluster (polymer) and strong hydrogen bond water. In the DC conduction test, the magnitude of the conductivity of the Kraft-paper depends on the amount of water whether the oil impregnates the Kraft-paper or not
