Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the M/M/2 queueing system with service interruptions. The rates of server breakdown are different between busy time and idle time, and there is one repairman in the system. Using the transform method we obtain the steady-state probabilities of the states, the steady-state availability and the steady-state queueing length, give a new form of the condition for the existence of the steady-state probabilities.
