Abstract
Several parts of the Software Development Department within BT have been registered against the IS09001 standard for a number of years. In this paper we discuss the experiences of one part of this organisation in introducing the tools and techniques of TQM. The paper will describe how, despite initial difficulties, TQM has led to significant changes in our approach to quality
