Abstract :
This paper shows the frame synchronization word (FSW) of pilot bit pattern in 3GPP (3rd generation partnership project) W-CDMA (wideband code division multiple access) system are designed to have optimal frame synchronization property in compressed mode using complementary relationship between preferred pair of FSWs.
