KingBase Lite: a smart mobile embedded database system

Modern communication technologies develop surprisingly quickly and are utilized widespread. Many computer technologies also benefit from this exciting achievement. One fact is that mobile computing is now becoming an interesting and attractive research direction. Many researchers are being involved in it. The authors present a smart system, which is designed to meet some state-of-the-art emerging requirements. The paper outlines a newly mobile application frame architecture which is application-oriented. At the same time, we introduce some peculiar features such as mini-kernel, pragmatically embedded SQL Jet and so on, of the KingBase Lite. In addition, the article explains how to develop an embedded application based on the architecture and what should be considered carefully as well.
