Abstract
Radiation efficiency of antenna at radio frequency may be changed obviously by different grounds under them. Using the modified reflect coefficients of surface impedance, an image method combined with the MOM is proposed to analyze the input impedance of the antennas on different grounds media in this paper. By comparing the calculated data with the measured data, a conclusion is drew that at very low frequency(VLF), the radiation efficiency of the vertical antennas on different grounds are different in degree. And their input impedances are varied with the frequency and the causes are analyzed.
