  • Abstract
    This paper describes a collaborative learning supporting system, called PuzzleView. We raise several issues on designing mobile computer support collaborative learning (MCSCL) tool and propose novel examples to describe how those examples encourage students´ participation. The design concept of PuzzleView is that the student can real-time view other teammates´ annotations and information displayed on their tablet PCs, this function can facilitate the data communication in the group. With this feature, PuzzleView is useful to collaborative learning (CL), because CL emphasizes the importance of group members´ communication and negotiation to accomplish the group´s mission. We also propose some examples designed on PuzzleView. Through those examples we want to describe that some disadvantage can be avoided in CL activities and encourage students´ participation with the appropriate design.
