Title :
Subsonic plasma aerodynamics using a one atmosphere uniform glow discharge plasma (OAUGDP/spl trade/)
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. This excitation produces a traveling electrostatic wave that accelerates the ions and neutral gas to velocities of aerodynamic interest. If these research efforts are successful, aircraft might fly with no moving parts on their surfaces other than the landing gear, and electrotechnology can make further contributions to aviation, just as it has in automotive and surface transportation.
