Abstract :
We developed the short optical pulse generator with function of wavelength sweeping (SPG) which can generate TL pulse train under the condition of wavelength sweep range from 1550 nm to 1560 nm with sweeping step of 1 nm and dwell time of 5 s. We demonstrated chromatic dispersion measurement of EDFA by time of flight method for a short time of 55 s using SPG
