            Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. It, has recently been predicted that electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT), a well-known phenomena in atomic systems, can be created in a classical magnetized plasma. Key features of EIT in a plasma are the propagation of an electromagnetic wave at the cyclotron resonance, slow group velocity of the EM wave in the plasma, and the excitation of a longitudinal plasma oscillation with a low phase velocity.
