Abstract
The SrTiO3 and La- and Y-doped SrTiO3 were synthesized by the polymerized complex (PC) process and the subsequent sintering. The X-ray diffraction patterns of the SrTiO3, Sr 0.9La0.1TiO3 and Sr0.9Y0.1TiO3 powder precursor synthesized by the PC process showed that the perovskite SrTiO3 structure could be obtained. After the sintering by hot pressing, it was found that the compacts mostly remained to be the perovskite SrTiO3 structure. The Sr0.9La0.1TiO3 and Sr0.9Y 0.1TiO3 samples showed the Seebeck coefficient and the electrical resistivity lower than those of the non-doped SrTiO3 , indicating an increase in carrier concentration. Besides that, the power factor of the Sr0.9Y0.1TiO3 sintered compact was almost the same as that of the Sr0.9Y 0.1TiO3 prepared by the conventional solid state reaction method. Thus, it was found that La- and Y-doped SrTiO3 were synthesized by the PC process, calcination and hot pressing
