            Abstract :
Recent advances in OLED device efficiencies are making the a-Si backplane a viable solution for a large number of display sizes. This paper will present the possibilities arid design challenges of a-Si AMOLED backplanes for applications ranging from small full color cell phone displays to large HDTV displays.
