Abstract :
Biological signals do not usually exhibit a rigidly repetitive structure in time or frequency. The author describes some results using reduced interference distributions (RIDs) in biological signal time-frequency analysis. It is shown that RID analysis of these signals produces new results which would be difficult or impossible to obtain using conventional techniques.<>
