Abstract
The transients of the electrical and mechanical quantities of permanent-magnet commutator motors supplied from controlled rectifiers and pulse converters are calculated and determined by measurements. The motor´s operating characteristics at different rectifier control angles and converter pulse-duty factor values are calculated. The effects of changes in the rectifier control angle and in the converter pulse-duty factor value on the motors´ parameters are determined. An analysis of the above parameters and an analysis of the transients of the electrical and mechanical quantities of the motors is also presented. The investigations are carried out on a specially designed and built version of the motor
