Abstract :
In the past fifty years are we have seen more and more areas gaining access to grid electricity, from city to town to prosperous and accessible village. Then again, a large percentage of villages are electrified only on papers. In reality many of these villages have standing poles and no wires. The only immediate and economic solution to the problem of energy, requirement in village can be possible by energy management in village itself to make them self sufficient in energy requirement. The paper present a survey of village (Ekahara, Malanpur, Gohad, Gwalior, M.P.). In this paper an attempt has been made to identify the total potential of available resources in the village and energy management by the technique of heat generation through Biogas generation and electricity generation through Gasification technology of Biomass and make them not only capable to generate power but also make them aware for efficient utilization of energy by the use of conservation method.
