Abstract :
Wideband tunable fiber short-pass filters are demonstrated using standard side polished fibers (SPFs) with dispersive polymer. The tuning range can be as wide as 400 nm within 15°C. The insertion loss for passband is negligible and the rejection efficiency for stopband is higher than 50 dB.
