The paper introduces the meaning of ocean development, and the experience of ocean submerged operation. The paper emphasizes the design characteristic of the submerged motor used in ocean development, and the basic circumstance of the submerged motor, and the major problems in designing the submerged motor. With the development of ocean resources, people attach more and more importance to the submerged motor which is necessary for ocean development
