            Abstract : 
This paper presents the basic performances of the boost converter taking into account real parameters. Voltage amplification factors for continuous, overall-continuous (limiting) and interrupted modes are presented. Graphic dependences of voltage amplification factors on time at switched-on key for each of these operating modes are constructed. In conclusion, external characteristics of the boost converter are constructed.
