Abstract
This work presents a methodology for the calculation of windings, specifically for the case of motors with multiple windings. There are many applications that require multi-speed motors, called a double polarity and double winding motor respectively. In this case, the connection will be made by means of several taps. Regardless of the way windings are connected or distributed in the respective slots, it is possible, through this proposed methodology, to define an equivalent winding once the correct parameters, determined through access to the winding terminals, are known. In this way, it is possible to project the windings within the possibilities and limitations of the manufacturer. Results are also presented and commented upon
