Abstract
The threshold analysis has become an important technique in image processing of grayscale images whether it relates to segmentation or defect tracking. The present paper discusses an efficient and fast technique of automatic thresholding of human faces under different lighting conditions and skin spectral reflectance parameters for eye and face detection systems. The results in form of threshold histograms determine the optimal level and analysis of effect of various light conditions on the image features
