Abstract :
In this paper, a fuzzy neural-network controller based on the indirect field-oriented induction motor drive system is proposed. The hybrid combination of fuzzy logic and neural networks produces a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. The fuzzy neural-network not only has the ability of linguistic and robust control, as well as fuzzy logic control, but also has as high an adaptive ability as the neural network, so the control system does not need a mathematical model of the induction motor. The results of computer simulation prove that the proposed control system has strong robustness to rotor parameter variations and has good steady-state accuracy and transitory response
