Abstract :
Proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) method could decompose fluctuating wind pressure into proper mode space-related and principal coordinate time-related. For predicting wind field on structure´s surface, this paper worked out a Matlab program decomposing & restructuring wind pressure time interval sequence, which realized its interfacing with the Surfer software whose space interpolation capacity is powerful, and applied Grid concept plus geographical statistical method- Kriging method to define & interpolate data of measuring taps. Simultaneously, the time interval data of wind pressure on low houses´ roof collected in measuring test were analyzed via triangulation with linear interpolation & Kriging method. The result indicates: restructured wind pressure sequence gradually approaches to surveyed conclusion as restructuring-participant mode increases in number; Kriging method produces better predictive accuracy.
