Abstract :
Indexing lattice vectors is a key problem in lattice quantization applications. In this paper we propose a solution to this problem using the lattice leaders and the framework of the theory of partitions. Our solution works for generalized Gaussian distributions sources and allows the use of product codes. It also permits to index high dimensional vectors.
